Marijuana Eradication
While conducting periodic air searches from June to October of each year the Clark County Sheriff's Office along with agents of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification search agricultural fields throughout the county in search of illegal growing marijuana plants. Once the plants are spotted by the air search Deputies and Agents are directed into the fields to eradicate the illegal marijuana plants. Pictured above is Sheriff Gene A. Kelly with a recent confiscated marijuana plant eradicated from a Clark County field. The most recent search conducted netted nineteen marijuana plants recovered with a street value of nineteen thousand dollars. These efforts will continue throughout the growing season.
