K-9 Unit

Deputy Brian Campbell is the K-9 handler assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigation Division.  Deputy Campbell is seen here with his new K-9 partner Etzel.  Etzel was imported from Ladenburg Germany to replace Deputy Campbell's retired canine partner Apollo.  Etzel is a 3 1/2 year old German Shepherd trained and Certified in Narcotic detention, criminal apprehension, Tracking and Building searches.

Burglaries in progress
B&E in progress
Assault in progress

Prowlers
Missing or lost children
Alarms

Warrant Service
Assist other Deputies
Area search for suspects

Narcotic search
Assist other Local, State and Federal Agencies

Protection of the handler

Apollo Information

Apollo retired as of 2004 and lives with Deputy Campbell and his family.  Apollo's service record is outstanding with an instrumental number of narcotic arrests and his loyal service to protecting Deputy Campbell and the citizens of Clark County.
