The Clark County Sheriff's Office operates their Conceal Carry Program from our East District Office located at 3130 East Main Street. The office is only open on Monday’s, Tuesday's and Wednesday’s for gun permit applications between the hours of 8:30am to 11:30am and 1:15pm to 3:00pm. Prior to coming to the office you must have the following paperwork with you.

 

  1. A completed Conceal Carry application.  Application for a Standard License
  2. A training certificate stating that you have met the training requirements per House Bill 12
  3. Applicant must bring a 2X2 passport photo taken within the past three months. We do offer to take a photo for you at and additional cost of $5.00.

Fees:

If the applicant has been a resident of the State of Ohio for (5) five years or longer the fee is $55.00

 

If the applicant has been a resident of the State of Ohio for less than (5) years the fee is $79.00

 

 

Military, Corrections Personnel, Retired Law Enforcement Officers, and OPOTA Schooled personnel have possible exemptions to the House Bill 12 requirements. For more information contact Sgt. Bob Chadeayne at (937)521-2102.
